Teamelio was founded in April of 2010 as a task management application. The system was intended to make it easier for users to manage team tasks. The current team includes CEO Jean Wichert, Marketing lead Bastian Tigges and Developers Erik Blumstengel and Alfonz Borsos.
Teamelio gives its users an easy way to manage tasks. The application provides many of the functions that is expected of this type of application, including notes, address books and a dashboard view. Users can also receive notifications, communicate through comments, view change histories and check out weekly reports.
Teamelio welcomes users with a very clean, organized appearance that works exceptionally well for this type of application. The color scheme has a lively green theme offset by the solid white background. The user can navigate through their Teamelio dashboard by clicking on corresponding tabs. Team member profiles can include a small image as well as the user’s name for quick visual recognition. The language settings switch between English and German which is very annoying.
New users can sign up for a Teamelio account by clicking on the green “Sign Up” link in the lower, right hand side of the homepage. This takes the user to the account creation form which requires a gender, first and last name, email address, workspace name, city and country location. The user must also check a small box at the bottom of the form to confirm their agreement with the Teamelio terms and conditions. After filling out the form, the user can click the orange “Sign Up and Get Started” button at the bottom to continue. Teamelio advises the user that they must check their email inbox for an activation message that contains instructions to finish registration.
Teamelio is currently available to all users for free. There are no subscription fees or premium paid accounts at this time. The site does note that premium features are planned for a future release. When this happens, the user will be permitted to keep their free membership access as long as they do not add any paid features or additional users to their account. No further information is provided as far as what features might be added and how much they will cost. The site does not list a time limit on the free, account either.
Teamelio is a tool for anyone who manages the tasks of a team. Multiple users can work together and share notes, comments and communicate to complete projects. The application is easy to use and the web based format makes it conveniently accessible for all users. Don't use this site if you are not German because of the annoying language setting bugs.
